Alte University has been selected to participate in the Bologna Hub Peer Support Plus (BHPS+) project, joining a group of European higher education institutions chosen through a competitive selection process.

The BHPS+ project aims to support the implementation of Bologna Process principles across the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) while strengthening the institutional capacity of participating universities. A major focus of the initiative is to help higher education institutions plan and effectively implement key Bologna commitments.

As part of the project, Alte University will collaborate with international experts across three strategic areas:

• Quality Assurance in line with ESG: Strengthening the university’s quality culture, improving feedback mechanisms, and increasing the involvement of students, alumni and other stakeholders.
• Internationalization of Higher Education: Expanding Internationalization at Home initiatives, making effective use of Erasmus+ mobility opportunities, and developing stronger international partnerships and networks.
• Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence: Creating a strategic vision for digital transformation and encouraging the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence in higher education.

The project is implemented by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and funded through the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.

Participation in BHPS+ will give Alte University access to independent international peer reviews and expert guidance, enabling the institution to strengthen its existing practices, identify areas for improvement and develop concrete action plans to support its long-term strategic development.
